I’m sorry for the delayed post. Like I said on Facebook, yesterday I came down with a nasty bout of food poisoning that knocked me on my ass. It wasn’t exactly how I wanted to spend my 25th birthday but your guys outpouring of love for Broken Lullabies eased the sting.

I’m so thrilled you opened your arms to Camille and Matthew’s story.  It wasn’t the easiest to write and definitely required the most revisions but in the end, i’m proud with how Broken Lullabies unfolded.

Right now i’m working on Sean and Melody’s story called Melody of Truth. You can get a sneak peek of it at the back of Broken Lullabies. I’m aiming for a release date of October 26th.

Camila and Mattews love story isn’t rainbows and unicorns. It’s dark, gritty and as complicated as a rubics cube. As a writer, Broken Lullabies, pushed me out of my comfort zone and presented a challenge of two characters who were destined for heartbreak from the very beginning.

I worked with the talented Sarah Hensen from Ok Creations to design a cover that potrayed those very emotions. After trail and error, and a heck of alot of images, she nailed it on the head!!

Broken Lullabies will be released June 25th which is a mere month, give or take a few days, away. Due to a mishap, I will not be putting it up for pre-order but there will be some fun giveaways that will include an ARC copy of Broken Lullabies in the near future.

On Saturday I typed the two words I dread and love the most, the end. Whenever I finish a story, a sense of melancholy washes over me. It’s like i’m bidding farewell to my best friends, thanking for them being a part of my life for the past month and half. When it comes to Love of a Rockstar, I had no intention of continuing Marlene and Luke’s story. In my mind, it was a standalone but you dear fans, demanded more. It has taken me almost a year to do so but low and behold, To Cherish and To Hold is now in the hands of my editor. Hovering around 28,00 words, it is a novella that is packed full of drama, surprise weddings, babies and ties together with a happy ending. To Cherish and To Hold releases March 10th!

Also, in the back of the novella there is a sneak peek of the first two chapters of  This Love is Forever, the second novel to Love of a Rockstar. It is about Camille and Matthew, the lead singer of Five Guys. I’m so excited to get started on their love story! It is one for the books.

I may be almost two weeks late but i’m finally posting the word that will shape and define 2015 for me. Weird. Yup, you heard me right. It’s weird to greet the morning sun alone, it’s weird shopping for furniture with only my taste in mind, same goes for groceries and its certainly weird not having a standing date on the weekends but its a good weird. It pushes me out of my bubble and to explore new experiences that I wouldn’t have otherwise done. Honestly, i’m excited. Besides, haven’t you heard? Weird is the new normal.

What word defines 2015 for you? 

With a new year comes new releases. Nothing is written in stone yet because sometimes my muse come’s knocking and I can’t ignore her. Since, I have started my writing career a year ago, two novels have been shelved to start a new WIP. That doesn’t seem like alot but it throws the publishing timeline off. Anyways! Enough about my ADD. Let’s talk books.

Release day for me is always a mixture of panic and excitement. It's like sending your baby off to college and hoping she makes a ton of new friends.



The Accidental Kiss is one of my favorite novels I have written to date which makes it even more panic inducing. What if nobody else loves it as much as I do? Nonetheless, that's always the risk you take as an author. What I have come to realize is that you have to write for yourself. After all, your the one sitting at a computer screen for 9 hours a day carving out the story. Am I right?
