Working on a Playscript
I’ve been a little distracted from writing my usual fiction (or even the detective fiction that I love) ever since I saw this little play called Pressure. If you haven’t seen it, it is about the days leading up to D-Day told from the perspective of the meteorologist who used science to stop Eisenhower from dropping those boys into a storm they’d never have survived. It was a compelling story (written by David Haig) and it made me think about three days in my own life, three days in anyone’s life, and how much impact that little time can have on a story.
So I’m working on my first play, and if anyone has any advice, I’m open to it!
