Julien was born in 1980 and spent the first few years of her life traveling through America with her family. She was raised in Dallas, TX. Her father, a prolific novelist and poet, taught her to write as a very small child. She writes dark, thrilling, fantastic tales of mortal battles and daring exploits. She also writes a helpful little blog designed to inspire a lighthearted approach to life's trials and everyday tasks.
