Wow! Not posted in a while. I'm still about, promise :o)
Hi all,
It has been a year since posting here. HEY WHAT?!👀😋
Crazy how life has sped by. I've not been able to enjoy some pure creative time but I'd like to change that this year. The sequel to 'A Carpet of Purple Flowers' is nearly 400 pages in but I still have some serious edits to do. 👀
I'm self-publishing now (the contract ended with my publisher). It's quite a mission navigating around that world without Amazon KPD, which I'm used to. Lulu is my new publishing source at present. I've found it...

Hi beautiful people
I wish you a happy new year and hope it brings you joy. Let's keep creating and believing in a brighter future. You never know what wonderful surprises are around the corner.
It has been quite a while since I posted here, but I wanted to share my new year surprise, quite out the blue!
I was researching my family tree, mainly my grandfather's side, Wolstenholme, as couldn't find my grandmother's line at all. Earlier in January, I was helping someone else with researching t...

Midsummer - Summer Solstice

You can make solstice sun tea by adding edible flowers and herbs to a jar filled with water, then leave it out in the sun to steep. You can also make a sun mandala with petals from orange and yellow flowers. Arrange the petals in decorative, circular patterns while maintaining a vision of peace and serenity.
The summer solstice is a great time to find inner pe...

Imagination
I thought I'd make a post concerning symbolic visual knowledge and imagination. I'm a pretty curious person with bundles of imagination, and so research a lot about many varied things. One of my favourite topics is origins and cosmology. When writing 'A Carpet of Purple Flowers', I wanted to create a cosmology for my beings called The Sindria and understand their environment. The mind is amazing when it's set free to wander the realm of possibility and along the way connections...

Stay Safe ((( Hugs )))
Hi everyone,Just a short message to say 'hi' and hope you're all well during this unsettling time. How are you keeping yourselves occupied?
I'm going to use this period to edit/revise the sequel to 'A Carpet of Purple Flowers'. It's been a long time coming due to illness of myself and close family over the past few years. I've missed the characters and their story, and can't wait to dive back in. Thank you for being patient and understanding.

Blessings on Imbolc
Imbolc or Imbolg, also called Brigid's Day, is a Gaelic traditional festival marking the beginning of spring. It is held on 1 February, or about halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Historically, it was widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man.
It is time to let go of the past and to look to the future, clearing out the old, making both outer and inner space for new beginnings. This can be done in numerous ways, from spring cleaning your home to...
