Ever since I was 14 years old I wanted to write. My mother would tell me stories of how, before I could read and write, I would draw scribbles on a paper and call it a story. Writing has been a way of release. A way to take the world that I live in and make it into the world that I wanted to live in. It gave me a chance to be whomever I wanted to be and invite people along for the ride.
Through writing I hope to let others know that it is okay to pretend to be someone else. That it’s okay to create a different world and experience things that may not be possible in reality. That everyone has a story to tell.
