Mario Gabriel Adame, born in San Antonio, Texas, is the youngest son of Rafael and Theresa Adame. Rafael served in the U.S. Army for eleven years before receiving a medical discharge as a Staff Sergeant due to a catastrophic 1988 Chinook helicopter accident. He moved on to work as a computer teacher, coach, and a Texas regional manager in sales and marketing. Theresa had been employed in the psychiatry department at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for over twenty-five years, where she retired as Senior Secretary.

Growing up in the Mexican American culture of San Antonio, Mario experienced first-hand the special narratives of his grandfather, Anselmo “Chemiro” Martinez, who is renowned in the Tejano Music Awards H Mario Gabriel Adame, born in San Antonio, Texas, is the youngest son of Rafael and Theresa Adame. Growing up in the Mexican American culture of San Antonio, Mario experienced first-hand the special narratives of his grandfather, Anselmo “Chemiro” Martinez, who is renowned in the Tejano Music Awards Hall of Fame as a singer, songwriter, and performer. In 2013, Anselmo received a lifetime faith-based award from the Governor of Texas. The legacy of his grandpa as a musician and construction company owner carried on toward his uncle, John Martinez, a multi-Grammy nominee, who helped Mario learn the business and art of music performance. Whether it was military men on Mario’s father's side, like his uncle Arturo, who died in combat during the Vietnam War, musical talent on his mother's side, or the spiritual guidance coming from both sides of the family, Mario learned value in having voices and stories to depend on. Four women who Mario could always lean on were his two late grandmothers, Sulema and Aurora, former dedicated school district cafeteria ladies, aunt Sr. Betty Ann Martinez, former school principal and Salesian Sister, and Mario’s mother, “Terry.” In conjunction with the powerful influence of these ladies and the songwriting abilities of Mario’s uncle and grandfather, plus admirable teachers throughout childhood and adolescence, creativity, writing, and cultural arts always seemed to be highly encouraged. This combination would later lead to the publication of three authored poetry collections.

After high school, while staying true to those ideas and relationships that originated in San Antonio, Mario went on to find extended passions and admirable friends from numerous Texas cities and from international cultures within the city of Austin. Mario studied in the Kinesiology and Education Department at The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree - specializing in Health Promotion. In 2014, Mario served in one of UT-Austin's Elementary Charter School, which educated kindergarten through seventh grade children who were under Child Protective Services and healing at a residential treatment center. The joint effort provided students with curriculum lessons, life skills, and a variety of resources in preparation for moving on to the public school system. In 2015, Mario moved back home in San Antonio to be with his father who was battling from a transplant procedure for a very rare leukemia called Myelofibrosis.

Moving on in 2016, Mario continued his career passion of serving children and their families within the normal school day by the way of after school program's academic enrichment partnerships and social-emotional activities. Supporting children who are victims of abuse and neglect led to recording 33 hours of volunteer training for Child Advocates San Antonio completion accreditation. Calling On You For Virtual After School Program Student Incentives

Hello Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Acquaintances,
