Hugh Gillard grew up on a ranch on the prairies in the heart of Central Alberta,Canada.

Born with a cleft palate and lip he gained a unique perspective on life as a child, young adult and then throughout a successful career. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and over a forty-year span, acheived a successful executive career including President of three different companies.

From family life on a ranch to the heights of the coproate boardroom, he shares it all in an easy-to-read candid, inspirational and very humorous manner.
