So cute!

I’m so thrilled The Heartbreak Cure has been selected as one of Ezvid Wiki’s Ten YA Romance novels! I honestly had so much fun writing this book, so it’s great to see readers enjoying it so much!

Don’t forget to go and check it out here.

Midnight Reynolds is out in the world…

Midnight Reynolds coverAfter writing five romance novels, it’s been nice to go back to rather silly roots with my next middle grade book. It’s written under my alter ego, Catherine Holt. But don’t worry, Catherine is just as ridiculous as Amanda is (especially when presented with the opportunity to write bad ghost jokes).

Even better, the reviews have been great (phew!)

“Highly likable . . . old-fashioned spooky fun.” —Kirkus Reviews

“A great choice for young readers who clamor for slightly scary books.” —School Library Journal

“A fast-paced ride with a few surprises.” —Booklist

It should be available in bookstores in the US and most online stores around the world. And now, I need to get back to polishing Midnight’s next book, which will be coming soon…

Excerpt

Release Day!

Oh, yes! For the tenth time in my writing career I get to party like I’m a real author girl. Of course tomorrow I’ll go back to regular life, which involves having monologue conversations with my teenage kids and trying to convince readers in the library that there is in fact other books to read besides Rainbow Magic and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. But today…well, today I play!

So, here’s all the goss you need to know about my latest book! It’s called Falling for the Best Man and is the first of my Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farm series (don’t worry you will get to meet both sisters very soon!)

fallingforthebestman500x750-2

He’s the best man and her secret fling—who said being a wedding planner was easy?

What’s worse than running into your ex-hookup at the airport? When said ‘hookup” is the best man for the most important wedding of your career, and he’s on the hunt for a fake girlfriend. Between a hysterical bride and a wedding party gone wild, wedding planner Emmy Watson can’t afford any more disasters if she wants to save her beloved Wishing Bridge Farm. Which is why she puts the best man on lockdown. Unfortunately, he also happens to be the one guy who can make her forget everything except the way his kisses make her feel.

All Christopher Henderson needs is a fake girlfriend to convince his bosses that his bad boy reputation is a thing of the past so he can land his dream job. What better place to find said companion than at a wholesome vintage wedding. The only thing he didn’t count on was seeing Emmy, the woman who dumped him. The one he hasn’t been able to get off his mind.

There’s no denying the spark between them, but he’s a globetrotter and she’s a homebody, and falling in love is something neither of them has in their plans.

To read an excerpt you can head over to my publisher, Entangled or if you just want to dive right in, you can buy from any online retailer.

You can also follow me around on my Tasty Books blog tour, where there are plenty of prizes up for grabs. Oh, prizes. Yay.

And thank you to everyone who has supported me. I’m sending you all lots of unicorn dust (well cyber unicorn dust because obviously we don’t hurt unicorns in my neck of the woods!)

Falling for the Best Man

Wow, so it’s under a month until my next book comes out and I’m getting just a little excited. Of course by a little I mean over-the-top-avert-your-eyes-because-jumping-might-be-involved! And it’s not just because I love this story–though I do! It’s because I’m finally part of the Entangled family, which is something I’ve been scheming toward for quite some time. I love it when a plan comes together! Anyway, here is my ultra cute cover and a blurb of the book! It’s the first in a series about three very different sisters, all  spending time on the farm where they grew up.

Newsletter competition

20161104_073958Welcome to my monthly Reader Pamper Pack competition. What better way to celebrate books than by curling up with a great one. Each month I will be sending out a Blind Date Book along with a few little reader necessitates. And all you need to do to be part of the monthly draw is sign up to my newsletter. Don’t worry I won’t send out a million emails to you, because I’m the laziest person in the world and sending out newsletters requires work – and might distract from my busy reading/tv watching schedule. Er, and writing. Obviously!

hugs

How to Read More Books

Like most whow-to-read-more-cover-1riters, I’m a reader first and foremost, but trying to fit in reading time when you have a busy life can be tough (okay, not for me, but bear in mind that I’m an incredibly lazy person who has a true talent for ignoring housework and screaming children when I have a good book in my hand). Anyway, I’m currently giving away a list of tips for making more reading time in your day. Just sign up for my newsletter and you will automatically receive your copy. And happy reading!

Dating the Guy Upstairs…is now available

dating the guy upstairs cover 1Dating the Guy Upstairs

LIARS OR LOVERS?Young librarian Riley Harris has always maintained her independence, leaving the drama of love to anyone silly enough to fall for it. Her Jane Austen novels are as close as she cares to get to “true love.” Luckily, her handsome upstairs neighbor—and landlord—Will Henderson feels the same way.Since his ex-fiancé crushed his heart, Will devotes himself to charity in an effort to atone for the misdeeds of his wealthy, ruthless father. So when Will needs a date for his brothers high-society wedding, he asks Riley to be his faux girlfriend.

After a spontaneous kiss throws both Riley and Will for a loop, they find themselves fighting their mutual pride and prejudice against love. And when Riley is rocked by something from Will’s past, both will need to decide whether to follow their heads or their hearts…

Out now with Berkley Intermix

Free book!

Newhalocover-225x300Yes, folks.  You Had Me at Halo is free over at Amazon Kindle for the next five days. This was my very first published book. I wrote it three weeks after my father died, back in 2005 and signed with an agent and got my first book deal all within a five month period. It was crazy to think that after wanting to be published for so long that it finally happened. Unfortunately, my father, who’d always been a great supporter of my writing dream (and who basically forced me to read Tolkien when I was ten years old), wasn’t around to see it. However, I’m a girl who believes in all kinds of weird stuff so I have no doubt believing that he was up there pulling a few strings. Thanks, Dad!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing!
