THORN'S BONDMATE (Zarronian Warriors 2)
THORN'S BONDMATE will be available on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Amazon.
*
Reporter Daria Zane stumbles across a situation that could get her killed while investigating a story about hundreds of missing women. Pursued by the men and the aliens who've been abducting the women and releasing a new drug, ZL3, onto the streets of Earth there's only one place she can hide—Zarronia. If she can make it to Ambassador Eirikson she just might have a chance to survive.
Thorn Valanson has spent several months on Earth handling warrior business for his father. He's also managed to avoid the free-spirited Earth females as bonding with one of them is the last thing on his mind. In fact, his personal history has given him a distrust of females and a hatred of spies, especially female spies. When he captures Daria on his starship he knows there's only one reason she's there—to spy on his people and discover their most closely guarded secrets.
Daria can't risk her life by telling Thorn the truth as she can't be sure he's not part of the corruption. Thorn knows she's lying and that raises his suspicions. What happens when a warrior with a mating fever meets a female he lusts after but can't trust? It's a long journey to Zarronia.

To celebrate the release of the second book in the series I've put the first book, VALAN'S BONDMATE, on Kindle Unlimited.

Happy reading.

Standalone Novels
I'm ready to confess..I thought I was writing standalone novels but looking back I can see all the secrets I kept from my readers. Every new book in my series (The Doms of Club Mystique and Zarronian Warriors) reveals something more about a past character, building on and on until the reader begins to see the truth. I don't mean to do that but apparently its just the way my brain works. Even I don't know most of the time what's going to happen next.
So, although you can read each of my books as standalone novels you WILL enjoy them more if you read them in the order they were written. You'll discover why my heroes are such jerks and why the women in their lives put up with all their nonsense (ignoring them, being cruel to them, convincing themselves they can sleep with them and not love them, etc.). Apparently the women are the only people on Earth, or in the stars, who really KNOW their man.
I tried to write a kinder, softer Zarronian Warrior with Soren and Ronin. Yes, they worked out okay considering they ended up on Krystali with enchantresses who have their own powers. I enjoyed writing them but now its time to return to my roots with Thor Larkin in Her Viking Dom and Rolf in Rolf's Bondmate. I'm planning on these two books coming out this year, early fall and early winter. So put on your big girl thong and get ready. The jerks are back!
And, while we're on the subject of jerks - Cade did not cheat on Addison! They were dating but he hadn't committed to her. She convinced herself they were exclusive because she wanted him so much. When she catches him with Luc and Logan enjoying an evening with Linda that's when Cade realizes he's lost her. Only then does he claim her. He commits and promise he won't see other women and he keeps that promise. So, yes, he's a jerk, but he's not a cheating jerk. lol Let me know what you think. You can chat with me about this, or anything else, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/MardiMaxwell...
Have a great summer and happy reading.
