I am writer or at least that's what I am constantly aspiring to be... I remember in undergrad, sitting in my Shakespeare Class with the film in front of me on a big screen and the text in my lap - I believe it was Macbeth - and the one pervading thought was that, "This man - Shakespeare - was writing about what it meant to be human!" The thought was fascinating to me and although I already had a love for Shakespeare, it deepened because I began to see the writing and plays as an exploration and examination of the human condition.

The human condition is something that I am passionate about and I deal with it as a teacher, facilitating as best as I can, to all my students through literature, the lessons that each and every individual can lear ...more
