Hank Willenbrink is a scholar/artist. His play The Boat in the Tiger Suit premiered at The Brick Theater (NYC) in August 2013 after being read at the quiet New Works Festival in Seattle. It was published by Original Works Publishing in October 2014. His play 18 won the Corwin Award for Best Short Play from the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. He has also won the Corwin Award for Antarctica. The Earthquake Predictor Rides the Bus took audiences on a faux historical tour of Santa Barbara, on a bus. Crater took place on a giant rock and later at the University of California Institute for Research in the Arts at the Makrolab, a futuristic domicile and research station.
