When I was in London in the early 90's I looked for him in the phone book. Not seeing his address, I hoped he had moved...preferring not to think the worst. It was only when I decided to write 31 Days that I really went back to research. Unfortunately he died relatively young in 1988. He was 62. In my extensive research and travels associated with the book, I did find he had not only married again but he'd had a daughter as well. I believe he continued to be at least moderately successful through his life. I appreciate you asking and hope you enjoyed the book. Best... Marcia(less)
