What is the new definition of Job Security?
According to the ADP Research Institute’s ® 2016 Evolution of Work study there is a new definition of job security developing. Previously, individuals defined security by tenure. Today, with shifts in the workplace – especially increased automation – employees define security by the reach of their professional network and the ability to tap into relationships to find non-linear jobs that can extend a career. 60 percent believe a standard retirement age will eventually cease to exist.

Do we have any idea where our career is going?
A recent University of Phoenix poll, found that 60% of all workers want to change careers. Of that 60%, 40% are uncertain what to do next.
Another recent article stated that nearly fifty percent of people currently employed spend about an hour per day searching for another position.
Life is more complex, more demanding, more involved, worldlier and more stressful than ever. We have moved from a traditional industrial manufacturing base to the super highway of internet and informational technology of global proportions. This transition has created profound changes in the way we perceive our careers and our society. Whether it is in your career or your life or both, potential change is on your mind.
