My fingers were flying over the keyboard as the story flowed, I wasn't sure I'd be able to keep pace. It seemed Casey was in a hurry to have her story told.

My office door opened slowly, a waft of perfume entered first, then a blonde head with a sweet smile. Frowning at the disturbance, I looked up annoyed at being disturbed when I was in full flow.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Oh didn't anyone tell you I'd be visiting?" she said as the rest of her body entered my office.
"No, it seems I'm the last to know anything around here."
"I'm Pippa Magarth," she smiled sweetly, holding out her hand."
Standing I shook her hand, indicating she sit down.
"I'm kind of busy right now..."
"Yes I know, I won't keep you long."
"So what did you want?"
"I'm here about Tallon."
"Look Pippa, he's unconscious in hospital where he will stay for the foreseeable future."
"I'm his fiancee."
I dropped my jaw in shock. Tallon didn't even have a girlfriend last time I wrote about him.
"I don't think so Ms Magarth," I replied firmly.
Ms Magarth pulled off her gloves, showing me her engagement ring, then pulled out a photo of them together.
"This doesn't mean anything, if I want to give him a fiancee in a future book I will, and it won't be you, now I'd like you to leave."
"Sorry you say that Claire, you'll regret it and so will Tallon."
"You leave him out of this you little hussy and get the hell out of my office."
Glaring, she stood up and stormed out slamming the door making me wince.
"God what next," I sighed, sitting at my computer and trying to get back into the flow of things again.
"Momma," yelled a voice.
I closed my eyes, praying Casey would be alright.
"I'm coming love, you'll be safe with me.

*Tallon is a Security Guard in my Garrett Investigation Bureau Book Series. Casey is a young girl trapped inside her own body, trying to escape. Her story is back to its flow once more

Hello folks, it's wonderful to meet you all, thank you for the friendship and the follows. As you know I have just been accepted as a Goodreads Author. I'm so happy to be here. Anyway, being me is awesome, so I thought I'd introduce myself properly.

As you can see my name is Claire. I grew up in Sandbach, Cheshire, a beautiful old town which has been around for many centuries. I am married to Paul and we have three out of four gorgeous children. Of course I am being really biased there too. For the last 25 years I have lived in New Zealand and I love it. Beautiful to behold, friendly people and lots of different cultures to absorb. The restaurants are sublime.

Entertaining. Yeah I'm good at that, I seem to have the gift of the gab (talks a lot) - no wonder I am a writer. I was actually quite shocked when I wrote my first novel. Where did it come from? I think I must have a pixie on my shoulder sometimes, especially when my fingers flow so easily over the keyboard. Since that time in 2012 my characters have grown in confidence and now take over my life. We even have arguments about what is going to happen. I call them "Muse Attacks." They can be cheeky sods at times. I nearly tossed on guy out of a plane without his parachute.

I will say my books are entertaining, fast paced, twisted with romance, some more than others. However, to prove a point that I could write without adult content I have written a children's story, actually I have done several, though only one is published at present. "Zoe's Journey," is a delightful story of a young girl who finds out her life isn't what it seems. Entering into the fantasy world of Wizards, Trolls, Fairies she finds out who she really is.

See I've done it again...lol...chattering on inconsequentially. I'll be quiet for a while and will get back to you about my other books. My favourite series - Garrett Investigation Bureau.
