I love this book. Yes the FMC is shallow, but that’s the point. It’s witty and disgusting and intriguing and super fun. It’s a horror novel, not literary fiction. And in that genre, so wonderful.

I love the premise of this book, but I don’t think the author quite pulled it off. I was sucked in, but there were so many plot holes, it was quite frustrating. I also agree with others who couldn’t connect with the characters. I know the fmc was sup ...more

A cozy romance. I was a bit frustrated that it took so long to find out what the FMCs deal was 🙄. However, it’s a feel good love story and found family and all the oooy gooy mature relationships that we wish we were in but for most of us aren’t real. ...more

I’m not sure about the witchcraft/home for pregnant girls works together. It was entertaining, and I know this is a horror writer so horror had to get in there, but honestly I think the home itself was horrible enough. Parts were great. Parts were sl ...more

First off, I am a fan. I didn’t see the movie and I don’t know much about the drama surrounding it, except for the Taylor Swift / Blake Lively part. Cancelled! is a great song.

So to Woman, Down. I understand why she included the note at the beginnin

I can’t stand the FMC. Which sucks because I love everything else about the book. I love reading about the horses, dressage, eventing, even the barn chores. I am a horse girl; horse books are my favorite. But God, the main character is INSUFFERABLE. ...more

I bought this series because someone recommended it to me because I love books that play with form and text (eg House of Leaves, the astronomer’s club). And I loved the Silo series. So good. But these books were a bit disappointing.

I love experimental books. House of Leaves. The Astronomers Club. Delightful. I was so excited to find this one, especially since the Silo series is in my God tier of good books.

I enjoyed this one (fast read, took a couple of hours). I like how much

There’s been a lot of buzz about this book, and I love dystopian fiction.

But now you know the premise, so I’m not going to rehash that. I don’t know if I liked or hated the main character, but I did enjoy her story arc.

This is a biting commentary o
