BETA READER QUESTIONS
So you’ve decided to become my BETA READER, congrats. Please use this guideline to send me a detailed message answering each question as you finish the story. Do not answer any of these questions until you’ve completely read each chapter. You MAY reference this as you read any/all of my stories.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MAY OMIT ANY QUESTIONS THAT DO NOT FIT BY PLACING N/A = NOT APPLICABLE NEXT TO IT.
PRIORTY QUESTION(s)
1. Is it Boring ?
2. Does any part of the story drag?
3. Are their parts that you skipped to get to 'the good part'?
4. Do I over-inform anywhere? Also known as Info-Dumping.
5. Did you Get it? Did you understand every phrase / term I used?
STORY ROMANCE QUESTION(S)

- Do any of the love scenes seem overly cliché? Or sappy?
- Were the love scenes too fast, too slow, or too frequent?
- Did you have to reread any part of the love scenes to understand who was doing what?
- Did the actions & positions flow smoothly from one to the next, or did they jump as though something was skipped?
- Was your Comfort-Zone line crossed? Did anything in the love scene make you cringe?

- Is there enough downtime between intense scenes to allow it to build to the next?
- Were the Flashbacks smoothly integrated to fit into the current scene
- - Did they seem plopped in, like a chapter that was in the wrong place?
- Do I repeat whole scenes that Don't need to be repeated? Visually confusing?

- Could you see what the characters looked like clearly?
- Could someone who was Not familiar with the fandom see what the characters looked like clearly?
- If you went there in real life, would you recognize the location?
- Did you have to you clearly see the action between characters?
- Did I forget to describe their clothes, their hair, their eyes, any other distinctive feature that pertains to a specific character ?
DIALOGUE SEQUENCE QUESTIONS

- Could you see where the characters were while talking? Did the Characters work?
-Did anything strike you as impossible, improbable or inaccurate? Was this fic improperly researched?
-Did characters with useful gadgets and talents ignore their advantages for the sake of plot?
-Was the dialog necessary; did it add to the fic or would removing it change nothing?
REALISM

- Do their Reactions seem logical & realistic?
- Could you feel the emotions between the characters?
- Did the characters seem in character?

- Does any one character get in the way of the story?
- Was there a character that would have made the story better by being Left Out?
Is the plot realistic in the context of the canon?
Is the illness / disorder / etc used in the plot described correctly?
Are the references to historical events (both actual and historic in the context of the canon) correct?

The Mad Cafe - Summary.
Nadia, 26, is the outgoing one, the one who came up with the fabulous idea of the Mad Café. She wears her costume proudly. Everyday. Sarah,15, is the younger of the two. She is in high school and deeply involved in the schools Flabbergast- The schools paper. In their quiet town the The Mad Café is the only place to live a little, but Sarah isn't like that until one of her reports has to take her deep within how the Café came into being. In this story Sarah and Nadia bond forevermore. Stopping at nothing to get down to the nitty gritty of what the real Mad Café is.
