Vincent J. Sachar earned his Juris Doctor from St. John's Law School in New York. Despite much success in business, including a position as the youngest Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary nationwide in his industry, Vince is now writing full time. He is a hybrid author who has a traditional publisher and, also, self-publishes. He is a prolific writer having ten published works as of June, 2018.
Vince's wife, Gwen, collaborates with him, providing a first-read of everything he writes, providing initial editing, and strategy regarding other matters, such as book covers. Gwen also attends every book event and joins with Vince in speaking to and teaching college and high school students.

Some days our wr…moreI honestly believe that writer's block may simply be those times when the discipline of being a writer is more strongly being tested. Some days our writing just seems to flow out of us with little effort. On other days, we either do not feel like writing or we are not particularly pleased with the manner in which our words are flowing. This is when we should write anyway. We can always come back and edit and clean up afterwards.
Additionally there may be times when we feel a bit stifled at a particular juncture in our story. Our struggle may be that we are searching for an idea or how to fit a scene into our story.
Sometimes I have had to jump ahead a few scenes and write something that will occur later in my story. I know that I am very likely to use the gist of that event or occurrence. So, rather than flounder, I create a scene that I am confident I will use. At the same time, this seems to get the creative juices flowing.(less)
