Working!
This one is still untitled but I like where it's going. Here's a taste!
“I think I might of had too much to drink,” Skylar said laughing.
“You look like you have all your marbles.”
“Well I’m not drunk but...I’m feeling good. Thanks for coming over. You made me feel a lot better.” She reached over and squeezed his arm.
“Of course, any time.”
“You had more than me, you should be at least tipsy.” He shook his head.
“Nah, I’m okay. It takes more than this to get me there.” Skylar rose to her feet.
“Whoa,” she said, swaying. Jace chuckled, reaching up to steady her.
“You alright.”
“I’m fine,” she responded. “We need some more wine. When I get back we can put on some Netflix.” She tried to get to the kitchen without bumping into anything. She opened the fridge to grab the bread pudding she got from Cheddar’s. It was her favorite dessert. She knew Jace would enjoy it. She used the light from the fridge to find the counter. Suddenly the ceiling light came on.
“God bless you,” she said, motioning to Jace.
“Do you need some help?,” he asked. She could hear the amusement in his voice. It made her smile.
“I’m alright. I stopped by Cheddar’s and got this for us. It’s one of my favorite things in the world. I want you to try it.” Jace leaned on the wall and watched her.
“This is how I like to see you. I hate when you cry.” She glanced at him.
“Well thanks to you I’m alright now.” He let his eyes travel over her body. She wasn’t wearing anything revealing but he wanted to know what was underneath her over sized t-shirt. He gulped the rest of his wine before approaching her. It was clear that she was struggling with the box.
“Here, let me help you.” He placed his glass on the counter and stood behind her. He was reaching for the box on both sides of her when she turned around. She looked up at him.
“Oh, I...” Skylar didn’t know how to speak with him this close. His body looked so inviting. “Um...” She quickly turned back around, her heart beating out of her chest. “Yeah, I can’t get this open.” Jace took another step towards her so that there was no space left between them. He swept her hair back so her neck was exposed.
“Just so I can see what we’re doing,” he said low against her ear.
“Right,” she said breathlessly. He ran his hands down her arms and tried to help her open the box.
“You alright?” Skylar gulped as his lips moved against her ear.
“Yeah.” The box popped open. “Oh wow, thanks for getting it open for me.” Jace moved his hands to her thighs. He slowly ran his hands up her body, pushing the hem of her shirt up. “Jace,” she breathed. “What are you doing?”
“What do you want me to do?,” he whispered.
“I think I might of had too much to drink,” Skylar said laughing.

Pure Venom
Good afternoon beautiful people.
Hope everyone is enjoying a book and keeping up with their reading challenge. I have been falling behind a little just with everything that has been going on in life but reading is my safe haven. I'll be back on track in no time.
I decided to post this entry to suggest adding my book to your list. Why? I am a lover of good, interesting reads. I have only just begun putting Pure Venom together but this is the introduction. I appreciate any and everybody that takes the time out to support my vision. You will not be disappointed.
A special thanks to Karina who was the first and only person to read my book so far. She will never know how thankful I am for not only her time but the good review.
Other than that, get to know me. There's nothing better than feeling good about the authors you support. Stalk me on twitter and I'll be sure to return the favor. Good tweets are good tweets after all. Make sure to visit my website. Contact me and I'll be sure to respond as soon as humanly possible. If you're still reading this thank you for giving me the time of day. Maybe I'll see you on the flip side.
Check out my first book trailer!
