NIGHTLY VISITS

Nightly Visits

Everyone has a phobia. Some are afraid of heights while others are afraid of the dark. Many are afraid of snakes and spiders and for some it’s the boogie man. But one thing that we all share in common is our dreams. Can you control them?
Dreams have a way of seeking out your deepest fears and taking you on a virtual reality trip to places you’d never go when you’re awake. A nightmare may send you driving straight into a tornado, or walking into a dark room when you know a red-eyed monster is waiting behind the door. But dreams can also tell you stories of love, wit and treasures. You can wake laughing, crying, or screaming, because your dreams know who you are and they know how to attack.
That’s not what Nightly Visits is about.
THAT’S WHAT NIGHTLY VISITS IS!

NIGHTLY VISITS (released Feb, 2014)

Hello all. I am the author of NIGHTLY VISITS.

NIGHTLY VISITS is a book of five stories.

Little Red Socks : Genre (I have no idea! Read it and you tell me!)
Of the five stories in this book, this one stands on its own! Believe it or not, it's the story that has brought me the most feedback from the readers! To be honest, I'm not sure what genre to call Little Red Socks. It's a story that will make you giggle, tear up, get angry, warm your heart, and keep you wondering what's going to happen right up to the end.

Glasswalker : Genre (Supernatural Horror)
This is the story that started the whole idea of releasing a book! This story came from a nightmare I had back in 2001, and to this day is still the most vivid, sweat wrenching dream I believe I've ever had! I awoke on a cold, winter's morning in sweat soaked sheets from the visions that our character, Krista, is going to actually face in this story.

The Witches' Post : Genre (Horror)
This story has a touch of me in the character. Now, before you go comparing me to the main character, Steven, remember, I say A TOUCH OF ME; NOT ME IN A NUTSHELL! Some of the things our fearful, yet fearless character goes through in this tale are things that I went through as a child, but they didn't quiet have the same effect on me as they do in the young man in this story.

Indwellers : Genre (Horror/ Sci-Fi)
I guess you could call it that! Hmm, what do I say about this story? If you are into gradual changes, build-ups, and creatures, read it, and enjoy!

Earl : Genre (Horror/Warped)
Yip, that's how I categorize this story. Short and sweet, this tale was the only one in the book that I did not write. It was written by Austin McInturff. Austin wrote this story for a school project, and it was read to me over the telephone. After hearing the story, I found it too good to put into a drawer, not giving anyone else the chance to read it. So with permission to print it in NIGHTLY VISITS, I am presenting it to you. Words of wisdom, don't eat before you read this story... or better yet, go ahead and eat. It may add to the experience!

NIGHTLY VISITS is available now online at Barns & Noble, Books-A-Million, Xlibris bookstore, Amazon and many other places.
