Cameron Grant is the pseudonym of David Robertson, a mystery writer who left Scotland to study theatre in the bright lights of London, and ended up working as a Soho croupier in a cowboy outfit.

Cameron's debut whodunit, DEATH OF A DAME, features a locked-room mystery, a lot of white wine and some shameless name-dropping is published in March 2025. Can background actors Rosie and Melvin use their training - costumes, accents, white wine - to solve a locked-room mystery?

As a museum and heritage lighting designer, Cameron has lit everything from David Bowie’s costumes to the Magna Carta, via Kylie’s hotpants and the Rosetta Stone. His work has taken him to light around five-hundred exhibitions across four continents.
