Hi everyone,

So I finally read the novel Q, which I quite enjoyed. When I finished it I looked over my shelf and I had an unread hard copy of Mantel's Wolf Hall. Turned out to be a lovely coincidence.

A wild, close talking novel filled with intrigue, power, and idealism that feels like peak 2020s. Was totally hooked by the end.

Lots going on here, a sort of sloppy drunk novel combining a lot of different energies, ages and angles. Didn’t quite work for me and lots focus a few times, but by the end I could’t put it down.
