Whenever it happens to me I go through a certain cycle, anger, tears, and self-hatred. The way I deal with it though, is just to take a break. If you sit in front of your computer or typewriter for hours trying to think of something, it won't happen. Do something active, run, exercise, just focus on something else. The best ideas come when you least expect them, not when you're sitting at your desk hating yourself for not being able to come up with an adequate idea.(less)

I always liked writing it out, and that's something I can do. You can be as honest as you want, talk about what you want, and create a whole entire world of fiction just out of your imagination. Writing is honestly the most amazing thing in the entire world, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. It was my first love, and is a part of who I am.(less)

First Post.

Hello everyone, as you can see, I am new to the author's page here on goodreads. I am very excited to further my writing career by selling more copies of my book, and writing even more. If anyone would like to talk to me and discuss my book with me, I would be more than happy to. I love hearing all of your feedback, whether it be positive or negative. There are obviously things that I may need to Read more of this blog post »

“Books bring alluring colors to our mundane black and white world.”
Caleb Reese

“I should start trying to find comfort in loneliness.”
Caleb Reese, Brief Seconds In A Short Future:

“See that’s the problem with you adults. You’re too bullheaded to listen to what anyone else has to say. You think just because you’re older you have better judgment than everyone else. They should have a rule when electing someone as president. Don’t elect a power-hungry idiot.”

“I should start trying to find comfort in loneliness.”
Caleb Reese, Brief Seconds In A Short Future:

“I believe we all have stuff that keeps us up at night though. When it’s late at night and you should be asleep. You always have that one thought that you try to push away, but it never works. Like a boomerang it always finds its way back to you.”
Caleb Reese, Brief Seconds In A Short Future:

“That’s probably the worst thing about death. Is turns into was. Everything that was once present tense is now in the past.”
Caleb Reese, Brief Seconds In A Short Future:

“Just because someone’s dead doesn’t mean you have to talk about them like they’re not there. He may be dead, but that doesn’t mean that he’s not a great man anymore. You don’t just add a past tense to something when someone dies. If he died a good man. Then that means that he still is a good man. Death doesn’t just change how a person was. They die the same way they always were. Just like a hero dies a hero, and an asshole, well, he dies an asshole.”
