حسن کامشاد (زادهٔ چهارم تیر ۱۳۰۴ در اصفهان) مترجم و پژوهشگر ادبیات فارسی است. او استاد زبان فارسی در دانشگاه کمبریج و استاد مدعو در دانشگاه کالیفرنیا و از مسئولان شرکت ملی نفت ایران بود. مهمترین ترجمه کامشاد، تاریخ چیست اثر ه. ا. کار و مهمترین اثر تألیفی او پایه‌گذاران نثر جدید فارسی است.
