Steve Brew is an Australian author, whose published works include "Greycliffe; Stolen Lives" (2003) detailing Sydney Harbour's worst ever shipping disaster. He has also written numerous freelance articles for magazines of a genealogical, maritime or military nature in Australia and the United Kingdom.

His main interest, however, lies in 41 Squadron RAF, and he is the unit's Historian. In this role, he published "Blood, Sweat and Valour" in 2012, providing an account of the unit's operations between August 1942 and May 1945, and "Blood, Sweat and Courage" in 2014, telling the Squadron's story during September 1939 to July 1942.
