Should we go boldly into outer-space?
Should we go boldly into outer-space?
What if beings, like us, we must face?
Can we explain our human race?
Will they forgive us our careless disgrace?
Will they understand why some sleep on streets?
While simple geography dictates which of us eats?
Will they understand our obsession with wealth?
What if, for them, it’s not about self?
What if they look like a pig, or a chicken?
Do we have the words to explain ‘finger likin’?
What if they judge us evil or odd?
What if ‘theirs’ really is the one true God?
What if they’re angry and filled with hate?
What happens to us once we open that gate?
Will they be tribal, xenophobic and clannish?
Will we be the Aztecs, this time, or the Spanish?
What infections will come if they follow us back?
What excuse will we give if they’re ‘Native’ or ‘Black’?
Should we really go boldly into this unknown place?
Do we have the cojones to show our face?
Should we not stay here and clean up this place?
Before we go boldly into outer-space!

Great thing about reviews
My book 'Another Tribe' has received so many 5 and 4 star reviews which is great for sales. But, the best thing is, every reviewer also left a valuable comment about 'typo's' and formatting 'snafus'. By acting on all of those comments I now have a highly polished book. Thank you all who commented!

This is my worst review!
I loved this story and I know after saying that the 3 star rating comes into question.
Using the information provided, I went on to fix the problems.

The best comment a writer can get!
Just finished this book. Highly unusal but very good. I would like to leave a review but I can't remember the finished title. I can tell you I have never read anything like it and will probably give it 5 stars.
Blessing to you

“Our Eternal Curse: Another Tribe” is Simon Rumney’s very moving and poetic novel that I could just not put down. Julie is honestly one of the best female main characters that I have ever seen be developed in written form. She is brilliant and wonderfully courageous in a world that seems to always be against her. He Indian ancestry, while living in the South, puts her in a precarious position that ends up pushing her to a place that makes her vital to the Civil War. What I really loved about Rumney’s book is that he is able to create connections and a chain reaction leading to real life events (which I think is a fantastic ability and skill). She still suffers beyond the changes that occur with the Civil War and it just shows what so many individuals had to suffer in the aftermath of such a war torn era
