Best Musical Piece for a Scene
Have you ever watched a movie and thought to yourself, that's the perfect music for this scene? Let me give you some examples:
The infamous church scene in Kingsman with "Freebird" playing in the background.
Captain Marvel playing "I'm Just a Girl" in the background of a great fight scene.
John Williams superman theme song, Jaws, and Star Wars background music. The music in Jaws really scares the hell out of me.
You get the idea. If I ruled the world, I would pick a number of songs for my books (see www.newdrofscifi.com for full musical selections). All of the matching songs are linked to YouTube videos with the version that I liked best.
Eliza would have to be "Imaginary Lover" by Atlanta Rhythm Section.
Outliers would feature "Are you gonna go my way" for one of the fight scene, "Miss Independent" for the character of Dry, "Love Reign O'ver me" for a climatic ending song.
Loose Strings would have a daring combination of "Criminal" for Rakena's capture, "Everything she does is Magic" for when Wolfe falls in love with a middle aged Rakena, "Jump" for Wolfe Sterling's transformation during the Crescendo in that song.
Let me know what you think, especially if you know of a better song than the ones that I've selected.
All the best. . .
