Peter Stuart Smith, who also writes under the pen name James Barrington, is a British author of fast-paced thrillers and historical novels that blend authentic military insight with gripping storytelling. A former Royal Navy pilot, he draws deeply from his service experience to create stories rich in action, espionage, and realism.

His acclaimed series including the Paul Richter thrillers and Manhunt have earned thousands of reviews from readers around the world. Known for his attention to technical accuracy and global intrigue, Peter’s novels explore loyalty, justice, and the fine line between duty and morality.
