January 5, 2015

It's a new year and that means it's time for a new book. I have a fully written manuscript that I've been editing for the past few weeks but no title. I have two outlines that I'm hoping will turn into full length novels by 2016 and I'm really looking forward to what 2015 is going to bring.

This new novel is about a soccer star's fall from grace who is trying to be anything but his playboy father and a broken girl who's trying to forget a past full of heartbreak and loneliness.

She's looking for fun and nothing too serious; he's looking for love.

Did I mention that they're also neighbors?

I'll post the full synopsis (and the title) once I have them.

Happy New Year!

If you've read my bio, you know I like to read - a lot. I took the month of September off to get back into what inspired me to write in the first place, my love of a good relationship, not to mention a sexy book boyfriend.

Romance novels are usually written in first person or third person from one Point of View or switching back and forth between the two characters. I have always loved to read the male's POV, which is why I included it in my second novel, The Perfect Wave.

This week I read my first Bella Andre book and I loved it. It was written in third person and was very similar to a first person book that switches back and forth between the two characters.

So I have a question for the reader. Does it matter to you if a story is written in first or third person? Do you like to see the male's POV as well as the female?

Stay tuned next week as The Perfect Wave, may be going on sale and Wall of Trust might be free for a day or two.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Everyone,

I would say something about fall and the weather cooling down, but I live in Los Angeles and they are predicting ninety-degree weather this weekend. Ouch!

Wanted to let you all know that The Perfect Wave is on a blog tour this week. For those of you who follow the book blogs you have probably seen a review or two. There is also a great giveaway going on along with the tour. If you want to check it out or sign up for the giveaway go to my author Facebook page and take a look. There are links to the sign up as well as to reviews where you can see what people are saying about The Perfect Wave.

Hi readers, fans, friends, and fellow authors!

My kids have been back to school for a few weeks now, we are in the thick of soccer season and the Outlander wedding aired Saturday night. I can't think of a better time to write my first blog post.

Did anyone watch Saturday night's Outlander episode? I had to re-read the scene and watch the show twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. I can't wait for more Claire and Jamie.

A little bit about me: I live in Los Angeles with my husband and two daughters. I practice a lot of yoga, but not the Zen relaxing kind. My classes are to hip-hop, rap or the week's top 40, which takes yoga to a completely new level.

I used to read a book a day, but now that I'm writing, my TBR list has been growing at a rapid pace. Some of my favorite authors are Christina Laurent, Colleen Hoover, J.A. Huss and Jasinda Wilder. I have a lot more, but these are automatic one-clicks for me, even if I don't have a synopsis to read.

For those of you who do not know, my second book, The Perfect Wave, has released. This story follows the two best friends of Casey and Mason from Wall of Trust. This is not a series and there are no cliffhangers. Both books can and should be read on their own. Please add them to your TBR lists and check them out on Amazon, even to just look at the pretty covers.

If you like my books, please write a review. I read them all and take something away from each one.

The "Ask the Author" is open on my Goodreads page so ask away or just write me a note to say hi.

That's it for now. Happy reading - A.J. Pryor
