Author Kim Sloan, BSN, RN, Travel ICU nurse has been a nurse since 2008. Throughout her career, her experience has primarily been in the critical care setting including emergency room (ER) and Intensive care units (ICU). Her husband has been a nurse since 2001. Their families, children, and grandchildren live in Ohio where Kim and her husband still maintain a home. They travel the country in their RV, living thirteen weeks at a time (the normal time frame for an assignment) as travel nurses and have been doing so since 2017. They have traveled to and ridden their motorcycle in all fifty states, and they have worked within 17 different states. This book had some very intriguing stories and then a couple that left me... Blah. I really enjoyed the story titled: the book that found me. All of the stories were thought provoking though.

Such a fun book. Listened to this on audible with my 10 year old granddaughter! The storyline was cute and well written. Enjoyed the adventures from the pirates to the beach to the moon!

Another short story to add to my collection. I really enjoyed the progression of the story including the realization of what the magicians ultimate plan included. The magician's assistant figures the plan out and the tables turn. My only complaint is ...more

This was such a fun book. So many great short stories. It really was hard to distinguish who wrote which story between the two contributing authors. My favorite stories were Crossroads, Jesus had a dog named Lucifer, and Write in Peace.
