If you know anything about me you've probably heard the crazy story about how I stumbled into #AuthorWorld. It's a great tale full of snark, some sadness, karma and a huge dollop of humor.

I wrote my first book to kill time - keep my hands busy - and to give my bestselling author daughter, Ella Fox, a break. She was writing - I was newly retired and driving her crazy.

Cue every song every recorded about having too much time on your hands!

BROKEN JUSTICE came to life in a timeshare on a Gulf of Mexico beach. We went to Walmart and got a folding table just big enough for a laptop and a spot to put my teacup. I've joked that this set-up was like handing a preschooler crayons with instructions to color and be quiet. It worked!

When the opportunity presented itself, I took a gigantic leap of faith. Everything that came later was because of this creative moment in time.

In a few short months, March 2019, I will celebrate a very special anniversary marking the publication of BROKEN JUSTICE. I cannot believe it's been five years.

In the time since the release of the three-book Justice Brothers series, I’ve written more than a million words over dozens of books. I’m a mom, grandmom, former teacher, and a USA Today Bestselling Author. That last thing still blows my mind! Some days I have to pinch myself. I won’t be around forever, but my words will live on. Hashtag, humbling.

Before this year closes out and my 5-year anniversary celebration begins, there are a few hundred thousand Justice words coming your way! The Family Justice Saga continues with DECEPTION, coming December 15th. [TBR List Alert!]

It's hard to believe we're only halfway through February and I've already released two titles in a new series of naughty novellas! The Sinful Shares are great fun to write, and I'm loving reader reactions. One GREAT suggestion is the Sinful Share of a Justice couple!!! Lots of fun, sexy ideas swimming in my head about this ~ we will see where it goes!

While the Sinful Shares heat up eReaders, I am deep in the writing zone working on the next Family Justice novel ~ Enduring. Just wrapped up putting the finishing touches on a fantastic cover that I cannot wait to share.
