The more books I finish, the clearer my process has become. I sit down and write out a scene whether it's going well or not. I figure that's what a second draft is for -- to smooth out and make scenes better. (less)

Hopefully some people will like your book but others won't. Learn from the constructive criticism but don't let it define you as a writer.(less)
