Print and stress!

I received the print proof of the book today and while I love it , it just did not pop like I wanted it to. So, I have decided to do a little updating to the cover. I also decided to add a prologue to the book. Something I had meant to do in the beginning but for some odd reason it did not happen. After reading the book in print I felt the prologue begging to be written.

Is it crazy of me to want to add it now, after it has been published for download?

I want to get the print copy finished and ready for distribution so I can just step away, wipe my hands and say "There, it is done. They either hate it or love it, it's out of your control so relax."

Putting poetry and articles out to the world is so much less stressful than putting out a novel. I am stressed about how it will be received. Nervous about finding that first bad review, because I know they will exist. Frightened that I will never truly be satisfied.

I am pretty hard on myself, which comes from being bi-polar. Thank you brain for making me nuts!

Anyway, about that cover. It is happening. The new cover is beautiful, sexy and is absolutely JUMPS out at you. Stay tuned in the next few days to see it live on Amazon and very soon....in print!

For now, thanks so much to everyone who has read the tale of Jemma and Julian. And thank you for all of the wonderful reviews. Each time I read one , which I need to stop doing but for some reason people keep emailing me every time there is a new one, I smile.

Love yah,
Jen AKA J.L. Bostick

Good things!

I am so excited to be able to bring to life the world of Jemma and Julian. It has been a long , tedious, emotional, uplifting and exciting process giving birth two a group of amazing people. I found it every bit as emotional as giving birth to babies, maybe a bit more.
