My name is Ginger and it's not one of those 'secret writer' names. It's on my passport and everything. I was named after a movie star from the 1940's...who's real name, incidentally, was Virginia. I live in a little city on the Canadian prairies where it's cold and windy but very majestic - and where there are all sorts of adventures to be had. I confess I've always liked kids better than grown ups and I'd much rather write adventures than serious things, so I kind of HAD to be a novelist. I love liberty above all else, so my book heroes will always be freedom-fighters in some way. I absolutely believe that anyone can be heroic. Even you. Especially you.

Being published seemed like su…moreI'm working on my second book and sequel to SPARK. When I wrote the first book, I had no idea what was to become of it. Being published seemed like such a fairytale. Now that I know for a fact this next book will be published, it's so much more exciting to work on it. I feel like I'm writing for actual readers, instead of just for my own satisfaction. (less)
