MJ can't remember a time when she wasn't creating her own stories and considers every life experience fodder for her fiction.

Although her 30-year career in local television included such highlights as being bitten by a lion, preempting a US President for a college basketball game, giving a three-time world champion boxer a few black eyes, a mention in the Drudge Report, and meeting her husband, the urge to create her own stories never went away.

MJ lives in upstate New York with her husband. Music and cooking are two of her passions, and she enjoys baseball and college basketball, but she’s primarily focused on wine ... and writing. ...more

I Can See Clearly Now

I remember in the 4th and 5th grades having to sit in the front of the classroom because I couldn’t see the blackboard. I finally got glasses in the 6th grade. I wore glasses all the time. When I got my driver’s license, it very clearly stated I needed corrective lenses.

But I only needed glasses for distance–TV, driving, etc. Not for reading.

There were a couple of points when I felt like the author was trying to name as many character as possible from past books. Still an exciting read.
