So, before I thought maybe I'd give this writing stuff a shot I was an avid reader. In fact, I still am an avid reader. I try to read all sorts of genres and appreciate the many varying kinds of books. Mostly, I try to support the indie author. In doing so, I have found some phenomenal reads.

Which leads me to today, Wednesday, already having to take my contacts out and throw the glasses back on because my poor eyes are so tired. That is because I've already read two amazing books this week..... And last night I was up reading until almost 2am!!!! Sheesh. But it was totally worth it. If you haven't read either of these they are a MUST!!!

Alas, tonight. No reading, no writing, not television. Tonight is going to be the night of sleep!!!!!

So here I am, sitting at my desk as I finish up all the loose ends of my day. I thought maybe it would be a good idea to write a blog post on Goodreads.

So I opened the document and stared for a good five minutes.

Then I stared some more.

I have no clue what to say :)

I've been overwhelmed by the positive feedback thus far on my first novel, Home. Please continue to help in my journey to "just keep writing." I have no clue if I'm any good at it, but I enjoy it. It feeds my soul, gives me purpose in my life and just plain makes me happy!!!

Please, check out all the books I have read so far. I hope to keep adding as I come across them. There are SO SO SO many fabulous authors out there and I encourage you to at least try their books as well to see if it is something you enjoy!!!
