How it Came About

I wrote the first edition of Ox Herding: A Secular Pilgrimage in early 2014 during a particularly difficult time. The novel emerged quickly, written over three intense months into which I poured my heart and soul. When it was finished, I published it immediately and carried on with my life. I moved house, raised my children, and changed jobs, never imagining I would return to it years later.
