Dr. Brian Apollo was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Oak Park, Illinois. Employed as a school psychologist by the Chicago Public School system which is the third largest school district in America. Dr. Apollo specializing in parenting styles and psychological assessments, he uses his talents to help improve the quality of life for children and their families within the Chicagoland area.

Dr. Apollo is also an ordained deacon of Ruach Covenant Church International in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Apollo began writing poetry in elementary school and had his first poem published in sixth grade. His collections of poetry are often considered raw, motivational, and inspirational.
