Make A Fairy Tale Come True
Children’s book Author Marc Clark's GoFundMe Campaign is titled: “A Fairytale For Our Fairy Princess”. It’s an online crowd-funding effort to raise money to publish his new fairytale, “The Princess & The Parakeet”, and to contribute to Brooke's Blossoming Hope For Childhood Cancer Foundation in memory of his friend, Brooke Hester.
Brooke asked Marc to write this fairytale when he visited her for the last time in a New York City hospital six months ago. His hope is to create a beautifully designed hardcover keepsake as a tribute to the amazing little girl who inspired him, but the expense of doing that are beyond his means.
He is inviting the public to partner with him in his mission to bring a real Princess’ fairytale to life.
The Campaign Runs through April 15, 2016

6-Months with The Princess Fables and Two Perspectives
Marc writes:
Most people imagine that someone will come into their lives who believes in them so much that it will somehow, miraculously, alter the future and lead them down a road where all of their dreams come true. Oh, wait, maybe that's just me.
The truth is I didn't really believe that I'd meet someone like that but I still secretly wished for it anyway.
The thing is, I'm an extraordinarily lucky person and someone like that did actually come into my life 6 months ago. She said (and I'm paraphrasing a bit and exaggerating a lot) "Would it be alright with you if I changed my life completely so that I could devote myself to you and your book, The Princess Fables? Because you are best EVER! (Believe it or not, that's isn't the embellished/exaggerated part.)
As you can probably tell from the last few sentences I'm a fairly confident person but I can honestly say that I didn't truly believe in my abilities as a writer until Alana Seal forced me to see it by working tirelessly and joyfully every day in every way since the day I met her.
So, now that I've realized it's not just a dream I guess I'll have to wake up and start doing some real work.
Alana writes:
On this 6 month anniversary I thought I would write a little something to marc the day. I spelled mark wrong on purpose, BTW. I am not a writer and until 6 months ago, I wasn’t a publicist. I tell Marc Clark all the time someone is going to write our story someday. It has mystery, love, intrigue, faith, success and betrayal. No betrayal as of yet but every good story has to have that. I can only write from my perspective and as we all know, men and women have very different perspectives. 7 months ago I was intrigued by this very good looking mysterious man, that I had never met. He told me about his book in passing. “Did I tell you I wrote a book”? No, he hadn’t. I read the free story and ordered the book. That’s where the love affair began, with PF of course. The book and why he wrote it stole my heart. That is where the real story begins. Two strangers coming together over the love of a book, with one purpose, to make it a success. Our differences, there are many. Our similarities, there are few, but it works. So, on this happy happy day, we will celebrate our past accomplishments and my belief that we were supposed to find each other and this is what I was meant to do.
