How do you deal with writer’s block?

I expect I will someday, but so far when I am wrapping up one book, another idea comes to me. Knock on wood. And while I'm working on a book, I like to start my day out with an hour long walk with my ear buds in. As I walk, my mind is busy crafting scenes and dialog. I also do this at many other points in the day. So, yes, kids, when you walk in and ask what I'm watching on TV, and I reply "I don't know. I'm not really watching it," I'm telling the truth. When I sit down to write in actuality at about the same day in the afternoon every day, all the words I banked in my head earlier pour out without a hitch. Knock on wood. I also play music, which I think helps. I can't write without my tunes.(less)

Bonus for me is that I get to share my fantasy worlds with others. I love crafting novels. Another cool thing about being a writer is to be part of such an awesome process: the human mind is a magical thing. It always amazes what comes out of my head.
When I first reread a draft of a book I wrote, I compare it to shopping at Trader Joe's. I wander around impulsively throwing things that look good into my cart, and then at checkout I'm like "Who put this stuff in the cart?" Because I have no memory of half the stuff I wrote.(less)
