Nickolai books only 97p
Both Nickolai books are available at only 97p throughout December. It's hard to get an exact price as it is all based on the US dollar. My sci fi adventure Goddess in Pyjamas is now also available for £1, which ain't a lot different.

Special Christmas offer on Nickolai kindle editions!
The festive season is here!
And it's time for Nickolai to do his thing again..
Throughout December Nickolai of the North and Nickolai's Quest,my two seasonal tales about the childhood of Santa Claus, will be available in kindle editions for only 99p at Amazon.

I'm currently working on a screenplay adaptation with the excellent Head of Development at Mann Made films, Dan Dockery. It is looking very much like an animation piece at the moment.
Naturally things get re-configured when you transfer a story into another medium, it's like it goes into another dimension. You have to take the story apart and put it back together again.
It's like dismantling and reassembling a clock in a different way. But it still ticks and has the same heart, but ticks perhaps at a different pace, or with a different kind of chime.
Adapting the stage version was interesting; I found I had to roll characters and story elements together and the ending always changes. Now the same is happening with the film adaptation, but characters and events are being reconfigured yet another way.
We are planning to go for BFI development funding on it so wish us luck. I'm lucky to have such a good co-writer.
It's very good exercise to adapt and re-invent your own work, but you always need that objective viewpoint.
Merry Yuletide to you all.
