Muhammad Abdul Hai was popular bengali author for his scholary Contributions of Bangla Literature. He was litterateur, editor, phonologist, novelist and professor also. Muhammad Abdul Hai was born in Mushidabad, India in 1919 in the village of Maricha. He spend his childwood and education life in various places, school and colleges. He passed High Madrasha Exam from Rajshahi Madrasha in 1936 and Intermediate Examination form Islamic Intermediate College, Dhaka in 1938. He Passed BA in Bangla (1941) and MA (1952) from University of Dhaka. He also obtain MA Degree from University of Landon in Phonology (1952).
