Hi, I'm Matthew Gene. I am a published author with Progressive Rising Phoenix Press.

When I'm not writing, I keep myself busy with a variety of creative projects, driven by my obsessive need to stay productive. I often work on videos, crafting book trailers for fellow authors, producing music videos, or editing drone footage I've captured. In addition to being a licensed drone pilot, I'm also a certified private pilot.

I always know when it's time to start up again. Your body/mind will tell you, at least mine does.(less)

Matthew Gene I would consider the best thing about being a writer is creating my own worlds, dialogue, characters, etc. Don't misunderstand; it's not a power trip.…moreI would consider the best thing about being a writer is creating my own worlds, dialogue, characters, etc. Don't misunderstand; it's not a power trip. It's the simple fact that you can watch it all come together, and you don't always know where it's going to take you. Things can, and have changed in the blink of an eye. It compares to real life more than we know. (less)
