Piroska Rodríguez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in the 1960s.
A professional in computer science, with an educator's heart, the author has devoted much of her professional life in technology teaching and coaching, training children and adults as well. She has prepared study guides and manuals related to the tools she couches, but her great treasure has been writing her stories. This author holds the opinion that magical stories rarely leave a positive message for children and young people who read them, so she strives to show us that within some magical stories can also be a beautiful learning. This is her first novel published, also the first book of the series Children of Light.
