Queenie Corona and the Ten Little Prints

A new Coronavirus Children's Book:
A First to Empower Children to Wash their Hands. It Couldn’t be Timelier!

When I was furloughed during lockdown, I knew it was going to be tough trying to get my small children to understand the pandemic and the importance of washing their hands. I soon realised that there just weren’t any children’s books on the market that could relay this powerful message simplistically.
So I decided to write one myself!

I basically wrote the book I wish I could have given my children back in March. I wanted to craft something gentle and dignified that would help give context to the pandemic and instill the vital importance of adopting proper hygiene.
My children loved this story and I was able to wrap up these important messages with a narrative all young readers can relate to, thus ‘Queenie Corona and the Ten Little Prints’ was born!

It is a very simplistic story based around ten comic style superhero fingerprints helping children to understand the importance of washing their hands to avoid the spread of germs in a fun way through rhyme.

I have collaborated with a talented young artist who has hand drawn all the illustrations in this book which makes it different to those currently out in the market.

The book has been entirely self published and is distributed on all major worldwide publication sites for the public to purchase including Amazon and Waterstones to name a few.

It is currently ranked #19 out of 100 in children’s books on illness on Amazon.

I encourage all parents, schools and community groups to buy copies now – because the message is extremely relevant to the world we live in.
