I couldn't wait to read Golden Son and it did not disappoint. This is the best series you're not reading. The suspense builds with each chapter until you think there is no way Darrow will survive this. Yet survive he does, each time losing a piece of his soul.

Still reading for fun!
In the past month I've read Kristan Higgins Somebody To Love. I am such a junkie for her books. I want to go back and read all of them again. If anyone can recommend someone similar I would love to try them.
Also I've been reading YA books including the Selection by Kiera Cass. I met Kiera in Chicago and was very intrigued when I heard that CW was working up a pilot. The story is perfect for their audience. Anxious to see the pretty's who get casted.
I finish one and immediately pick up another one. Trying to read as many as possible before my deadline gets overwhelming. Off to the beach this weekend and where I will two full days of reading pleasure.

Pleasure reading
After months of being in deep deadline and the must reads of the Rita contest I am finally able to spend some time pleasure reading. I read Tim Tebow's biography. I truly admire him. I just wish he'd landed with the Jaguars instead of the Jets.
I just finished Nine Rules to Break When Romancing A Rake. I loved the wittiness of it and will definitely pick up the other two books in the series.
I just stared When Harry Met Molly by Kieran Kramer. I already love it and am excited because I'm doing a panel with her at RT on Saturday. I'll be a total fan girl.
