I'm a reader first, writer second. I'm not sure that this is a good thing, but it's certainly true! My favorite genres include YA, MG, literary fiction, fantasy, biographies, and sci-fi. Really though, I'll read pretty much anything except for bodice-ripping romances. Margaret Atwood, Francesca Lia Block, and Samuel Beckett have all changed my life at various points in my life.

I have a BA in English from the University of Kentucky, a MA in Literature from the University of Louisville, and a MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College.

When I'm not reading or writing, I'm wrangling cats and kids, or trying to make sense of my sewing machine.

Stacking the Shelves #83

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from the library, review books, and of course e-books! This is a weekly meme hosted by Reading Reality.
