Deborah Swiss is the author of The Tin Ticket: The Heroic Journey of Australia's Convict Women, and several other non-fiction books. Her latest project started with a chance meeting in a post office in Launceston, Tasmania in 2004. It’s a story about the triumph of the human spirit told through the lives of three remarkable survivors. The book trailer features interviews with convict descendants: http:// ...more
