I think that affliction is more a novel writer's issue - plot, characters, subtext, etc. I keep working, keep researching, keep meeting and speaking to new subjects, and creating the narratives regardless of any possible blocks. I have been stuck before, but not so much a block, as taking the time to figure a way to best tell the story without it being too convoluted for the reader. Massaging the work is tougher once it is done. Working with editors, who point out where you've gone awry is both challenging and rewarding. But that will sometimes stop me in my tracks, where the original process has never tripped me up or stunted my momentum. At least I cannot ever recalled having "a block."(less)
