Phew… it’s done. It’s been quite a journey but after many late nights and many days stressing about “is it good enough?”, I finally published The Awakening. I’ve learned a lot of things about the art and process of writing soI want to share a couple, big pointsin the chance that if a new author stumbles their way to this website, they can learn from my experiences.

Martha, my editor has the 2nd revision. There were some good edits and updates to the story. I’m still aiming for a late April publish date. Stay tuned!

I’ve been spending the last few days updating this website. Small tweaks here and there. For example, the home page has a cool slider to display all your work however, I am only one book in so far so I had to adjust it just to show one. I quickly drew up a mock 2nd cover to fill it in.

The guys at Templatic (www.templatic.com), where I got this WordPress template from, are great! I’ve been working back and forth with them to fine tune the site, e.g. removing ‘Buy Now’ buttons because I’m not s...

It’s done! I’ve finally finished my own edits and the book is off to Martha, my editor. I can say without a doubt that it is a great feeling to hit that last period and finish the story up in my mind.
