Catching up in 2026

As I write this, it’s about fifteen degrees Fahrenheit outside, but it apparently feels like 5. We are on day 3 of being snowed in, and so far, I’ve managed to check three things off my to-do list: refill the bird feeder, shovel the driveway and sidewalks, and finish the book I was reading.
